Leap according to the Oxford Dictionary, is a jump or spring a long distance to great heights and with great force. When I was a young girl, I used to take dance classes. One of the dance moves we would perform, was called grand jete. A grand jete, required prep techniques to ensure, perfection. You first, bend your knees with your toes slightly diagonal, typically with legs spread, in what is known in the dance world as, second position. Then, you would Jete (take off) that is the force exerted which provided the energy for long distance. Then, you Saute (leap), take flight. You finish with the land. However, before you can ever consider doing all of these grand pre steps, our dance teacher Ms. Simpson, would inspect our footwear. You see, without the proper footwear, a dancer can break their ankles on the landing of the leaps. If the footwear were appropriate, Ms. Simpson would then inspect if it was well fastened. Your footwear in 2025, will determine how grand and safe for landing are your leaps. Proper footwear provides, joint support, shock/impact absorbent, good traction, support good posture, coordination and reduce fatigue. (http://decentfoot.com/whatistheimportance-of-shoes/). In ancient Rome, Romain soldiers wore boots, with nails in them to grip the ground in combat. The grip from their boots, caused traction, to hold them very sturdy, unable to be easily moved. When we hear the phrase, "get a grip", we think of, getting our act together, or holding it together. In 2025, what will keep you anchored? what will help you hold it together? May I refer you to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 6:15 reads, "for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace" (ESV). The gospel of peace, the good news, that through Christ, believers are at peace with God the father. God being reconciled with us, is on our side, and therefor fights for us. It is this knowledge of divine support, which gives believers confidence, allowing them to stand firm. The Lord is our strength.
In the book of Romans in the bible, chapter 8:31-37, it reads, " what then shall we say, if God be for us, who can be against us". In that same chapter 8:36, it reads, for your sake, we are being killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered". A quote from psalm 44:22. It highlights, circumstances may get hard in 2025, as a result of your will to serve the Lord. (Matthew 5:10-12). You must not allow the hardship to move you out of alignment with God. Listen, truth be told, you can hustle and bustle to get things done. yet, for the sake of the gospel, you remain firm. You can accept that late night booty call, and who would know? Yet, for the sake of the gospel, you hold firm. You get a grip.
In 2025, you will not be able to leap into the things of God, if you do not strap your feet with the word, rightly divided in truth. 2025, the word of Gid cannot be read and obeyed to fit the narrative. There can be no, " God understands" or "God knows my heart means well". 2025 is the year where you believe and obey, or you do not believe and disobey. God's words must be the lamp unto your feet. Do not take one step, without a word of direction from the Lord. The word of the living God must be your evidence, that what you are praying for will come to fruition.
In 2025 if you want to perform a grand jete in your journey with the Lord, you have to allow God to order your steps. Or else you will find that you start off with great momentum, only to lose it, midair and land short of your goals.
In conclusion, in 2025, In the name of Jesus Christ, I prophesy to you dear reader, what would have taken you years to accomplish, may it be done in months. what would have taken you months to accomplish, may it be done in weeks. what would have taken you weeks to accomplish, may it be done in days. what would have taken you days to accomplish, may it be done suddenly in one day. 2025, year to make Quantum leaps into purpose!!
